The following senior athletes in Basketball, Golf, and Cheer were honored Friday, February 9, 2018.  

Ashtyn Bell:

 

Ashtyn has been a member of the cheer team for 1 year.  She is also been a member of Beta Club, Student Council, Quiz Bowl, History Club, and Drama Club.  Ashtyn was selected to attend Arkansas Governor's School this past summer and scored a 30 on her ACT.  After graduation, she plans to attend college and major in Physics.  She was escorted by her mother and step-father, Ashley and Tim Tharp.

 

Makayla Carter:

Makayla has been a member of the cheer team for 5 years.  She was selected as an All-American Cheerleader for the past 4 years at cheer camp.  Makayla is also a member of Beta Club, FBLA, and Student Council.  After graduation, she plans to attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and become an orthodontist.  Makayla was escorted by her parents, Shy and Angie Carter. 

 

Josie Love:

Josie has been a member of the golf team for 4 years.  She is a District Medalist and All-State in 2015, 16, and 17.  Josie is the individual 3A State Champion in 2016 and 2017 and a member of the 2017 3A State Champion team.  Josie is also a member of Beta Club, FBLA, Quiz Bowl, and Student Council.  After graduation, Josie plans to attend Lyon College and study pre-medicine.  She was escorted by her parents, Brandon and Amy Love and sister, Sophie Love.

 

Adrian Black:

Adrian has been a member of the golf team for 4 years.  He is a member of the 2015 3A State Champion team and the 2017 State Runner-Up team.  After graduation, Adrian plans to attend UACCB and pursue a degree in business.  He was escorted by his mother, Juanita Ring and father, Paul Black.

 

Cole Lamb:

Cole has been a member of the golf team for 4 years and made All-State all 4 years.  In 2015, he was the individual State Runner-Up.  Cole is a member of the 2015 3A State Champion team and the 2017 State Runner-Up team.  He has also qualified for the Bass Master High School National Championships the last 2 years.  Cole is also a member of the FBLA, Beta Club, Student Council, and was a member of the basketball team for 5 years.  After graduation, he plans to attend Arkansas Tech University and pursue a degree in Marketing.  He was escorted by his parents, Kathryn and Bryant Lamb.  

 

Andrew Gunther:

Andrew has been a member of the golf team for 3 years and is a member of the 2015 3A State Champion team and the 2017 State Runner-Up team.  He is also a member of FBLA and Beta Club.  After graduation, Andrew plans to go to college and pursue a degree in Computer Information Technologies.  He was escorted by his parents, Andy and Wayna Gunther and brother, Bradie Gunther.

 

Landon Edwards:

Landon has been a member of the basketball team for 6 years.  He is also a member of the baseball team.  After graduation, Landon plans to attend Ozarka College.  He was escorted by his parents, Laura and Phillip Edwards.  

 

Colby Morgan:

Colby has been a member of the basketball team for 6 years.  He is also a member of the baseball team, FBLA, Beta Club, and Student Council.  After graduation, Colby plans to attend college, major in Kinesiology and become a Physical Therapist.  He was escorted by his parents, Mike and Candi Morgan.

 

Jared Chaney:

Jared has been a member of the basketball team for 6 years and voted as an All-Conference player twice.  He has also been a member of the golf team for 4 years and made All-State 3 years.  Jared is a member of the 2015 3A State Golf Champion team and the 2017 State Golf Runner-Up team.  After graduation, he plans to attend Arkansas Tech University.  He was escorted by his father, Steven Chaney, and mother, Laura Sipe.

 

Stone Runyan:

Stone has been a member of the basketball team for 4 years.  He is also a member of FFA and the football team.  Stone was voted All-Conference Honorable Mention in football as a senior.  After graduation, he plans to work in the area.  He was escorted by his mother, Bev Dover and sister, Alexis Runyan.

 

Kolten Smith:

Kolten has been a member of the basketball team for 6 years.  He is also a member of Quiz Bowl, Beta Club, Student Council, and Cross Country.  Kolten has been All-State in Cross Country for 3 years.  After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Arkansas Honor's College.  He was escorted by his parents, Mark and Kelley Smith, sisters, Kristen and Kassie Smith, and brother, Matthew Smith.
