Fall Sports Senior Night 2018

The following senior athletes were recognized at Bearkatz Stadium on Friday, October 19th, 2018:

 

Tayler Cooper: Tayler has run cross country for 5 years.  She is also a member of FFA, Drama Club, History Club, Beta Club and plays softball.  After graduation, Tayler plans to attend college and get a degree in nursing.  She was escorted by her parents, Jason and Bridget Cooper; and brother, Owen Cooper.

 

Lydia Sipe: Lydia has been a member of the cross country team for 4 years.  She is the cheer squad leader and senior class president.  Lydia is a member of FFA, Student Council, Drama Club, History Club, FBLA, and Beta Club.  After graduation, Lydia plans to attend Harding University and major in education.  She was escorted by her parents, Brad Sipe and Tracye Chaney.

 

Andrew Pitts: Andrew plays receiver and corner and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 6 years.  He has been a 3 year starter for the high school team.  He was selected All-Conference in football and All-Conference and All-State in baseball.  Andrew was also selected as a member of the Three Rivers All Area Team in football and baseball.  He is a member of Beta Club, FBLA, and Student Council.  After graduation, Andrew plans to enter the medical field.  He was escorted by his parents, Kenny and Lisa Pitts.

 

Silas Motes: Silas plays running back and linebacker and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 4 years.  He has been a three year starter for the high school team and selected as captain the last two years.  Silas was named All-Conference honorable mention as a junior.  He is also a member of FFA and Beta Club.  After graduation, he plans to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field.  Silas was escorted by his mother, Erin Motes; brother, Eli Harrell; and Nannie, Phyllis Copeland.

 

Brandon Rupe: Brandon plays receiver and safety and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 6 years.  He is also a member of FCA and Beta Club.  After graduation, Brandon plans to join the Army.  He was escorted by his parents, James and Margie McCrary.

 

John Phillip Conrad: John Phillip plays tight end and defensive line and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 6 years.  He is also a member of FBLA, FCA, Beta Club, History Club, and a member of the Archery Team.  John Phillip attends Mt. Pleasant Southern Baptist Church.  After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville to pursue a degree in Architecture.  He was escorted by his parents, Phillip and Chrystal Conrad; and brother, Caleb Conrad.

 

Adam Elliott: Adam plays offensive line and defensive line and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 6 years.  He has been a two year starter for the high school team and selected as a captain this year.  Adam is also a member of FCA.  After graduation, he plans to attend Ozarka College and study nursing.  Adam was escorted by his sister and brother-in-law, Alex and Casey Goggans.

 

Riley Gervasi: Riley plays offensive and defensive line and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 6 years.  He has been a two year starter for the high school team.  After graduation, Riley plans to attend Ozarka College.  He was escorted by his parents, Aaron and Effie Woodward.

 

Michael Masson: Michael plays offensive and defensive line and has been a part of Bearkatz football for 6 years.  He has been a two year starter for the high school team and selected as a team captain this year.  Michael was also selected as All-Conference, All-State, and a member of the Landers Super Team as a junior.  He is also a member of FCA and the yearbook staff.  After graduation, Michael plans to join the Army.  He was escorted by his mother, Christie Garrison; stepdad, Lane Garrison; grandparents, Bobby and Ruthie Sheffield; brother, CJ Masson; sister, Brianna Masson; and the memory of his Dad, Corey Masson.

Michael also carried the #20 jersey in memory of Logan Winslow.  Logan was a loved teammate and player.  He has been missed by his teammates and coaches, but not forgotten.
